• Orligal 120 mg is used as a weight loss medication.

• It works by inhibiting the enzyme lipase in the gastrointestinal tract, which reduces the absorption of dietary fats by approximately 30%.

• It is generally prescribed to adults who are overweight or obese, often along with a reduced-calorie diet and exercise.

• Helps in managing weight and reducing the risk of related health problems such as high blood pressure, diabetes, and high cholesterol.

Dosage & Administration:

• Usually taken orally with water immediately before, during, or up to 1 hour after each main meal containing fat.

• If a meal is missed or contains no fat, the dose can be skipped.

• Oily or fatty stools, increased bowel movements, gas with discharge, stomach pain or discomfort.
